Generative AI Use Statement

I use generative AI tools where they help me create a stronger overall product. This may include brainstorming, organizing ideas, refining content, drafting or rewriting website copy, and generating simple graphics or visual assets for use on a website.

Whenever possible, I prefer clients to provide the core copy for their website. You know your business, organization, and audience better than anyone else. When copywriting support is needed, I may use generative AI to help develop content from the information you provide. All AI-assisted content is reviewed and edited before it is added to a website.

I may also use generative AI to create certain graphics or design elements when it makes sense for a project. These are selected, adapted, and reviewed by me so they fit the overall look and purpose of the website.

I use generative AI particularly to support tasks outside my core areas of expertise, allowing me to focus more of my time on website structure, design, usability, accessibility, and implementation.

Generative AI does not independently build your website or make final decisions about your project. I remain responsible for the work I deliver.

I do not intentionally provide confidential or sensitive client information to public generative AI tools. If you would prefer that generative AI not be used for your project, just let me know during your consultation.
